I visited the pawn shop earlier today to check out cameras and to look around in general, when I came across a camera that looked pretty familiar to me. It was a Nikon Coolpix L4 (not that that's really relevant, but I decided to pick it up and check it out to see what kind of pics it took, seeing as how I've heard soooo much hype about the camera. Anyways, I couldn't take any pics, because there was a price tape over the lens, so I decided to just hit the "play" option to see if there were any pictures already ON the camera... So finally I decided to go ahead and get a camera so I can work on some more projects without having to inconvenience my neighbor, Jeremiah (who has been AWESOME - letting me use his camera for the first part of my "Desktop" series). The camera is a Cannon Powershot A580, and believe me when I say - this thing kicks all sorts of ass, and I'll be putting it to work every day.. Mostly to capture stock images, textures and the such.. I'll be saving up for an SLR Digital so I can telephoto on you bitches...
